Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (hereinafter - the Policy) is developed in accordance with the requirements of the legislation in force, including the Law of the Republic of Armenia of 17.12.2008 No. PD-190 "On Personal Data" (hereinafter - No. PD-190), the legislation of the European Union and other applicable regulations in the field of privacy and data processing, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Regulation). It regulates the processing of personal data of SIA "Doca" [Uniform Registration Number: 40203426652], registered in the Republic of Latvia, and received from personal data subjects - natural persons (hereinafter - Personal Data Subjects, Users) in connection with providing them with access to the Psytalk software package available on the information and telecommunication network "Internet" at the address: https://psytalk.eu (hereinafter referred to as the Service).

Please read the Privacy Policy carefully to understand the purposes for which we process your personal data and how you can exercise your rights in relation to your personal data processed by the Operator.

Personal data means any information related to a specific individual - Client or Specialist, directly or indirectly defined.

Transfer of personal information by the Data Subject means that the Data Subject unconditionally agrees with the terms of the Privacy Policy and the terms of processing of his/her personal data specified therein. In case of disagreement with the terms of the Privacy Policy, the Personal Data Subject shall refrain from transferring personal information to the Operator.

The subjects of personal data can be Clients and Specialists (psychologists) using the Service. Special rules for the protection of personal data of different categories of subjects may be established in the Terms of Use and the Agreement with the Specialist.

This Policy is aimed at informing about the Operator's actions on processing and protection of personal data.

With your consent, the Operator may perform any actions with personal data specified in the Policy, including collection, recording, systematization, storage, use, transfer (distribution, provision, access), blocking, deletion and destruction, accumulation, clarification (update, change), extraction, depersonalization.

The operator is responsible for the purposes of processing personal data and may transfer or entrust their processing in accordance with the law.

The processing of personal data may be terminated when the purposes of the processing have been achieved, at the request of the data subject or if unlawful processing is detected.


1. Basic Concepts and definitions

Personal data - any information relating to a directly or indirectly identified or identifiable personal data subject.

Processing of personal data - any action (operation) or set of actions (operations) performed with or without the use of automation means with personal data, including collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification (update, change), extraction, use, transfer (distribution, provision, access), blocking, deletion, destruction of personal data.

Automated processing of personal data - processing of personal data by means of computer equipment.

Dissemination of personal data - actions aimed at disclosure of personal data to an indefinite number of persons.

Provision of personal data - actions aimed at disclosure of personal data to a certain person or a certain circle of persons.

Blocking of personal data - temporary cessation of personal data processing (except for cases when processing is necessary to clarify personal data).

Destruction of personal data - actions, as a result of which it becomes impossible to restore the content of personal data in the personal data information system and (or) as a result of which material carriers of personal data are destroyed.

Depersonalization of personal data - actions, as a result of which it becomes impossible to determine, without using additional information, whether personal data belong to a particular Data Subject.

Personal data information system - the totality of personal data contained in databases and information technologies and technical means ensuring their processing.

Cross-border transfer of personal data - transfer of personal data to the territory of a foreign country to an authority of a foreign country, a foreign natural person or a foreign legal entity.

Personal data operator - an individual entrepreneur, independently or jointly with other persons, organizing and (or) carrying out the processing of personal data, as well as determining the purposes of personal data processing, the composition of personal data to be processed, actions (operations) performed with personal data.

Website - a set of graphic and informational materials, as well as computer programs and databases, ensuring their availability on the Internet site at the address: https://psytalk.eu

IP address - the unique network address of the node in the computer network through which the Personal Data Subject accesses the Site.

Personal data subject - the natural person to whom the relevant personal data relates.

User - the natural person to whom the relevant personal data relates, who browses the content of the website and/or uses the functionality of the website.

Client (Customer) - any legally capable natural person who has accepted the Operator's public offer. The content and terms of the public offer are located on the Website.

2. Purposes of personal data processing

2.1 The Operator processes personal data of personal data subjects for the following purposes:

  • Phone number or nickname in Telegram messenger.
  • Psychology topics of interest to the personal data subject.
  • Other data provided by the subject of personal data when using the Service.

Service Specialists:

  • Last name, first name, middle name.
  • Date of birth (date, month, year).
  • Gender information.
  • Phone Number.
  • Email address.
  • Information about yourself, experience and qualifications.
  • Educational credentials.
  • Information on the length of counseling, personal therapy, and supervision experience.
  • Information on the number of customers.
  • Ratings and Awards.
  • Testimonials.
  • Photographs and videos of the specialist.
  • Schedule, job description.
  • Questionnaire validation results.
  • Cost of Services.
  • Areas of travel to clients, reception address, information about remote work.
  • Other data provided by the subject of personal data when using the Service.

3.2 The Operator may also collect and store information on the interaction of personal data subjects with the Operator's information systems, the results of statistics of visits to the Service, geolocation or IP address data.


4. Cookies and automatic logging

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a device (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.) and contains information about your internet activity. The Operator may use cookies and web beacons (beacons) to analyze data flow, personalize services, content and advertising, as well as to evaluate the effectiveness of websites, ensure reliability and security, conduct market research, track revenue and improve the functionality of the Service.

5. Rights of personal data subjects

5.1 In accordance with the Personal Data Act No. PD-190 and GDPR, data subjects have the following rights:

  • The right to access personal data.
  • The right to clarify (correct) personal data.
  • The right to block and delete personal data.
  • The right to appeal against actions or inaction of the Operator.
  • The right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data.

6. Confidentiality and restrictions

6.1 Users undertake not to use the Service for committing criminal acts, disclosure of state secrets, distribution of materials containing calls for terrorist activity, pornography, violence, extremism and discrimination, as well as violation of the rights of authors or right holders.

6.2 Users undertake to comply with the legislation of the Republic of Latvia and other applicable laws, as well as the rights and legitimate interests of citizens and organizations.


7. Changes to the Privacy Policy

7.1 The Operator continuously improves the ways of data collection, storage and processing, as well as implements additional security measures. The Privacy Policy (including any of its parts) may be changed by the Operator without any special notice and without any compensation in connection therewith. The changes come into effect from the moment of their publication on the Service. Your continued use of the Service implies your agreement to the updated Policy. If the User does not agree with the new version of this Policy, the User must stop using the Site.
